CRE8 is a shop and factory in the middle of Amsterdam where we make all our products ourselves! Here we educate disadvantaged youngsters to become the craftsmen of the 21st century. Digital craftsmen understood, because all our products are manufactured through digital production techniques such as 3D printing and laser cutting. In our store and webshop you are at the right address for original lamps, unique jewelery and personalized children’s products and much, much more!

We believe that our products are meaningful because of the attention of the people behind them. At CRE8, it’s as much about people as about products.
CRE8, MAKERS WITH ATTENTION:
1. FOR QUALITY
What we make, has to look good. It has to be well finished. And has to last as long as possible. Whenever we make our own design or our client’s design If we see a chance to improve a client’s product, for example by use of a different technique or material? We will give advise. Even if the technique is not ours.
2. FOR ORIGINALITY
We are all at one: a gift shop, web shop, small factory, service provider and foundation. A unique proposition as organization. As our product collection is distinctive as well. The gifts in our shop originate from our personal creativity and come from our own design table. And products are always custom made, thoughtfully created by our experienced ánd apprentice craftsmen
3. FOR ONE ANOTHER
We believe together you’ll reach further than alone. That is why the co-workers of CRE8 support each other to bring out their best and to exceed our clients expectations. Besides that we give the youngsters a helping hand: together we work for a better future. And that is why we work together with schools, Amsterdam government and well fare organizations.
4. FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
We are there for everyone, young and old. Everyone can just walk in, if only to see with their own eyes how we make things. And whether someone knows exactly what he needs or not quite yet, we help him to get what he wants most. We make clear agreements about the result, the delivery and the costs. And if something goes wrong? Then we solve it quickly and with care.
5. FOR THE FUTURE
We give youngsters the opportunity to learn a craft, to develop their creativity and get the most out of themselves. At CRE8 we offer a traineeship for this. We train them to become the craftsmen of the 21st century and prepare them for further education or a job. If needed they also receive support from a welfare worker, present at CRE8 every day.
6. FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP
We are constantly looking for new opportunities to bring CRE8 to a higher level. To better help customers. To bring young people to bloom. Make even better products. And sell even more. We prefer to think in terms of possibilities rather than limitations and like to try out new things. We are not afraid to take risks. But we keep the business operations financially responsible.
7. FOR INNOVATION
Everything at CRE8 breathes innovation. We ensure that we have up-to-date machinery for our digital production, the craft of the 21st century. We respond to the latest technological developments. And we are forerunners on several levels. As we are a store, webshop, factory and foundation, all in one. Designing and fabricating our own products. And there is always a caregiver on the work floor (a unique approach).
8. FOR SUSTAINABILITY
We keep our ecological footprint as small as possible. For example, by making our products in the heart of Amsterdam and not in another part of the world. By using FSC certified wood. By filtering our smoke. By working with 100% green energy. By striving for zero waste. By reusing the left over residual material as much as possible. And by packaging our gifts in recycled wrapping paper.
